Canadian Education - Your Key to Success in Canada


Most international student who apply to attend a school in Canada and receive a letter of acceptance will need to obtain a Canada Study Permit (Student Visa). Receiving a Certificate of Acceptance make you eligible to apply for a study permit. Studying in Canada will prepare you for work in Canada, and it can also fast-track your application for permanent residence through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category in case you wish to stay in Canada after you graduate.

Express Entry

Canada has changed its economic immigration programs to provide more opportunities to prospective skilled immigrants.It is called the Express Entry. It is not an immigration program in itself, but rather it is a system used by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to select candidates for immigration through the following key economic immigration programs:

Candidates who are issued an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence under the Express Entry will benefit from a fast processing time of six months or less.

Family Sponsorship


Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) made an announcement that effective December 22, 2014, eligible spouses or common-law partners have the opportunity to work in Canada while they wait for their application for permanent residence to be processed.


CIC will issue open work permits to certain spouse or common-law partners who are applying for permanent residence from inside Canada,before the approval in principle decision on their application is made.

The Nova Scotia Demand: 

Express Entry


Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry stream is a pilot project of the province.

It selects highly skilled individual who wish to live in the province of Nova Scotia permanently or have a permanent full-time job offer from an employer or have a reasonable ability to attach quickly to Nova Scotia's labour market.

The Nova Scotia office of immigration reserves the right to consider only certain types of jobs and occupations for nomination depending on the skills shortages of the province.

Caregiver Program


As of December 1, 2014, there are now three ways to apply for permanent residence through the Caregiver Program.


The two new pathways namely the Caring for Children Pathway and the Caring for People with High Medical Needs Pathway are among a number of changes made to the Caregiver Program.
